7:30 p.m. Film concert at the Campoamor Theater
«A True Story» by Joana Serrat
Joana Serrat has become one of the Catalan artists with the greatest international projection. Her music sounds warm, intimate, universal, and captivating. With musical coordinates marked by Americana, but also by British folk tradition, Serrat delicately immerses us in a world of open landscapes and hopeful horizons, with nostalgia but without sadness. Following her own path and turning small details into a sign of identity, her proposal grows step by step with calm and the certainty that wonders of life are found along the way.
Joana Serrat will perform live, over the film projection, her music for «A True Story» by the recently deceased David Lynch. A heartfelt tribute to the great filmmaker.

«Rumble Fish» by Mario Cobo. A classic by Francis Ford Coppola, one of his most intense and romantic works thanks to its intelligent and transgressive composition that has an uncommon fascination in the cinema of the time. Musician Mario Cobo has composed an original soundtrack that he will perform live as a duo. Mario has spent his whole life studying the sounds of American guitar roots, a lot of road and thousands of concerts with his solo project, Nu Niles, Los Mambo Jambo, or Los Locos del Oeste, as well as being a guitarist with Kim Lenz, touring the United States for two years, or Loquillo until a couple of years ago. He has also recorded with international artists like Joe Clay, Rocky Burnette, or Little Rachel, among others, and has accompanied artists of the caliber of Sonny Burgess, Billy Lee Riley, The Cadillacs, Janis Martin, DJ Fontana, and many more.
Sunday, March 16
12:00 p.m. Guided tour of the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias by Javier Rebollo, filmmaker.
7:00 p.m. Film concert at the Campoamor Theater
«Starting Over» by José Luis Garci (1982). Leticia Baselgas and Rubén Bada are the heart and soul of the Asturian project L-R. They combine the rhythms of traditional music with the electric guitar and tambourine. Their «post-folk Asturian» is based on the folklore of their homeland, adding rock and blues to the color palette. Past, present, and future intertwined in the same staff where Asturias is the protagonist, just like in José Luis Garci’s Oscar-winning film, whose frames traverse emblematic places in the Principality. Looking back and starting over, recovering lost time and rediscovering love truncated by exile, in short, starting over. L-R will perform live, over the film projection, their music for «Starting Over.»
All film and film concert sessions will be preceded by a presentation to contextualize the chosen film for the audience. We will have, among others, critics Carlos Losilla and Martin Pawley.
