On April 11, 2025, the historic streets of Avilés will experience various traffic and parking restrictions due to the celebration of Holy Week. These restrictions will be in place from Sunday, the 13th, until Saturday, the 19th of April, coinciding with the different processions that will take place during that time.
Parking Restrictions
- La Muralla Street: Parking will be prohibited between La Cámara Street and Plaza de Pedro Menéndez on the following dates:
- Monday, April 14, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. until the end of the Procession of Jesús Cautivo
- Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. until the end of the Procession of El Encuentro
- Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the end of the Procession of El Beso de Judas
- La Cámara Street and Cuba Street: Parking will be prohibited between Cuba Street and José Cueto Street, and between La Cámara Street and the exit of Vado 327 on the following dates:
- Friday, April 18, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until the end of the Procession of La Soledad
- Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. until the end of the Procession of La Resurrección
Traffic Restrictions
Traffic will be restricted in the streets affected by the processions and in the pedestrian zones regulated by bollards on the following days:
- Sunday, April 13, 2025: The Procession of La Borriquilla (Ramos) will start at 11:45 a.m. following an itinerary through various streets.
- Monday, April 14, 2025: The Procession of Jesús Cautivo will start at 8:30 p.m. with a specific route planned.
- Tuesday, April 15, 2025: The Procession of San Pedro will start at 8:30 p.m. following a designated route.
- Wednesday, April 16, 2025: The Procession of El Encuentro will start at 8:30 p.m. with a specific itinerary.
- Thursday, April 17, 2025: The Processions of El Beso de Judas and El Silencio will start at different times and follow specific routes.
- Friday, April 18, 2025: The Processions of Santo Entierro and Nuestra Señora de la Soledad y La Vera Cruz will take place with their respective itineraries.
- Saturday, April 19, 2025: The Procession of La Resurrección will start at 10:30 p.m. with multiple routes due to the participation of three Brotherhoods.
