On February 18, 2025, the Pabellón de Ferias y Exposiciones de La Magdalena will be packed to welcome Los Pecos, a musical sensation among the youth of Spain in the 80s. The duo, composed of Pedro and Javier, is currently on a tour celebrating their return to the stage 45 years after their debut, selling out venue after venue. On May 3rd, at 9:00 p.m., Los Pecos will perform in Avilés, a city where tickets are in high demand.
Los Pecos have been adding Avilés to the list of cities where they are selling out venues in a reunion tour that is one of the musical successes of 2025. Brothers Francisco Javier Herrero Pozo and Pedro José Herrero Pozo formed Los Pecos in the late 70s, creating a musical duo that resonated with young audiences. The duo has sold over 1,100,000 copies of their albums.
THE TOUR ‘DOS VOCES Y UNA HISTORIA’
Los Pecos have announced that in March, they will resume their music career and return, more than a decade later, with the tour ‘Dos voces y una historia’ to celebrate their debut 45 years ago. From March to October, they will travel to the main cities in Spain, including Avilés.
Los Pecos, formed by two boys from the neighborhood of San Cristóbal de Los Ángeles in Madrid, saw their lives transformed when a simple song, «Esperanzas,» composed by Pedro and sung by Javier, became a social phenomenon. They became one of the most important musical groups in Spain, driving the «fan phenomenon» in the country.
Throughout their career, Los Pecos set industry records multiple times. The first song of their second album, «Háblame de ti,» reached number 1 and led the album, titled «Un par de corazones,» to sell 500,000 copies with a repertoire of their own songs composed by Pedro and cover versions of Víctor Manuel and José Luis Perales.
Their third album, «Siempre Pecos» (1980), repeated the success with 300,000 copies sold, and the song «Señor» became an international hit, selling over 300,000 singles in France and being released in Italy, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, and Israel.
With three albums and over 1,100,000 copies sold, Los Pecos continued to achieve success with albums like «20 años,» «Que no lastimen a tu corazón,» «Por arte de magia,» «Pensando en ti,» and «Un manantial de ternura,» along with endless tours in Spain and Latin America.
