The restaurant that the former nuns of Belorado (Burgos) have promoted in Arriondas, in the Asturian municipality of Parres, will be officially inaugurated this Tuesday, March 11th, with a presentation to the media.
Starting from Wednesday, March 12th, the new hospitality establishment in the eastern region of Asturias will already be operating, although those close to the entrepreneurs have informed Europa Press that they have received many reservations and interest since their arrival in the Principality. These days they are already serving some meals, finalizing details, carrying out all possible tests to ensure nothing goes wrong.
«They are overwhelmed with the number of calls, reservation requests, and requests from the media and television,» said their press officer and spokesperson, Francisco Canals. He mentioned that this is a case of «successful entrepreneurship» and the first closure restaurant «run by rebellious nuns united in adversity.»
In this way, the restaurant will be open to the public a month after the former nuns publicly announced that they were going to rent a hotel in Asturias for 1,600 euros per month with the aim of creating the establishment to obtain resources.
They also explained that they were going to buy land for the breeding and care of dogs and other animals since they had various projects related to the breeding and training of dogs for abused women or the training of guide dogs for disadvantaged groups, among others.
The former nuns of Belorado themselves will take care of the kitchen, while the staff will attend to tables and customers, thus preserving their enclosure. The restaurant will offer a combination of traditional Asturian dishes along with recipes from the Clarisas, giving a special role to pastries, muffins, and chocolates.
