Science and knowledge, protagonists of the workshops of the Estaya de la Llingua in the cultural centers of the neighborhoods from March to May

The Estaya de la Llingua de Avilés dedicates its new program to science and knowledge in the cultural centers of the neighborhoods, in the upcoming quarter, from March to May. Under the heading «Journey to Knowledge: Explore, Create and Learn,» children, while using and feeling the Asturian language, will get to know the lives of inspiring Asturian women, the physics of flight, and also learn to prepare some delicious treats. In collaboration with Aladanza, Education, and Tradition.

 

«Asturianes: twenty inspiring women and collectives,» by Alicia Álvarez

The first activity will be in March, working on the book «Asturianes: twenty inspiring women and collectives,» by Alicia Álvarez. Children will prepare a clay diorama that will immerse them in the lives of Asturian painters, writers, and athletes.

«When will the moon be made,» by Miguel Rojo and Borja Saura

The story «When will the moon be made,» by Miguel Rojo and Borja Saura, will be the starting point to learn practical aspects about the physics of flight. Additionally, they will enjoy building amazing flying devices. In March and April.

«La Curuxa Catuxa,» by Inaciu Galán and Vero Suari

The last activity will feature «La Curuxa Catuxa,» created by Inaciu Galán and Vero Suari. With this, children will delve into the kitchen to shape delicious Asturian desserts and other rich treats. In May.
