A collection featuring the works of students from the beginner and intermediate courses at Avilés Popular Classrooms

The exhibition «Colors of the Earth: Asturias in Watercolor» will be inaugurated this Monday at 7:30 pm at the Women’s House. It is a collection of works created by students from the beginner and intermediate watercolor courses at the Avilés Popular Classrooms. The exhibition will be open for viewing until May 20.

The opening will be attended by the councilor for Equality, Lucía Fernández Ron, the councilor for Culture, Yolanda Alonso, accompanied by the teacher Eleana Luque, and the director of the Cultural Factory, Anabel Barrio.

Each work evokes the unique beauty of Asturias, reflecting both the richness of its natural environment and everyday scenes that connect with the cultural identity of the region. Through the watercolor technique, the artists have captured the characteristic light and color of the Asturian landscape, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the serenity of its mountains and the warmth of its surroundings.

This exhibition is not only a celebration of the talent that flourishes among the students and artists of Avilés, but also a heartfelt tribute to the natural and cultural richness of Asturias. Each work reflects the commitment, creativity, and expressive strength that resides in the vibrant corners of each community space.
