Por Redaccion On May 14, 2025, a total budget of €13,500 is allocated and promoted by the Youth Council. Starting tomorrow, May 15, and for a month, applications can be submitted through the municipal Electronic Headquarters for the call for youth project support grants, promoted by the Youth Council with a dual objective: collaborating with the associative fabric and supporting entities that develop projects for young people in Avilés.
Entities, associations with their respective boards and/or sections, federations, and non-profit foundations with legal personality, established in Avilés, carrying out projects and activities with an impact on the youth population, can participate in this call according to the terms indicated in each modality.
The maximum total amount of grants in this call is €13,500.
Two action modalities are included:
A) Maintenance Modality: Exclusively subsidizing legally established youth associations. The maximum amount that can be requested in this modality is €1,000.
B) Project Modality: Subsidizing social interest entities located in Avilés that develop projects and activities targeting young people or youth groups in Avilés. The following projects will be prioritized:
1. Initiatives that promote the active participation of young people in Avilés in projects and activities within their field, with special attention to more disadvantaged groups.
2. Development of innovative projects for young people in the fields of culture, leisure, education, and the environment.
3. Projects that promote or develop intergenerational and social inclusion activities.
4. Projects that develop activities to promote emotional well-being in young people.
The maximum grant amount per project in this modality is €2,000.
All applications will be evaluated according to the criteria detailed in the call, and the score obtained will determine the amount of the grant to be awarded from highest to lowest, until the available credit is exhausted, with the possibility of denying the remaining applications that meet the requirements.
