Aviles Ferrera Park will remain closed until further notice due to the strong winds caused by «Herminia». The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a special notification about the secondary effects generated by the storm «Herminia», with its most severe effects expected to exceed 80 kilometers per hour.
In the last hours of the day, it will start raining in the northern quadrant. The maritime storm will continue in Galicia and Cantabrian with waves of up to 8-10 meters significant before this forecast, this morning, the municipal service and the garden service will keep the Ferrera park closed to prevent possible damage to those who could travel. Additionally, as a precaution, the population is advised to avoid traveling through any wooded areas in the city until the notification is deactivated.
